{"id":117,"date":"2025-02-21T13:08:25","date_gmt":"2025-02-21T13:08:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/4equality.erasmus.site\/?p=117"},"modified":"2025-03-01T14:47:13","modified_gmt":"2025-03-01T14:47:13","slug":"breaking-gender-stereotypes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/4equality.erasmus.site\/pt\/2025\/02\/21\/breaking-gender-stereotypes\/","title":{"rendered":"Quebrar os estere\u00f3tipos de g\u00e9nero"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cAs empresas precisam de talentos qualificados mais do que nunca, e acredito que incentivar o interesse das jovens mulheres em STEM \u00e9 inegoci\u00e1vel para as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que desejam prosperar no cen\u00e1rio atual.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>(<em>Chris Moore \u00e9 CEO da FIRST, uma comunidade global que prepara os jovens dos 4 aos 18 anos para o futuro atrav\u00e9s de programas de rob\u00f3tica inclusivos<sup>1<\/sup>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A an\u00e1lise \u201cFatores que contribuem para a sub-representa\u00e7\u00e3o das mulheres nas \u00e1reas STEM: Uma an\u00e1lise de tr\u00eas estudos \u201c<em><sup>2<\/sup><\/em> explorou a forma como os fatores sociais e ambientais conduzem \u00e0 sub-representa\u00e7\u00e3o das mulheres na ci\u00eancia e na engenharia. A an\u00e1lise revelou que os estere\u00f3tipos e preconceitos de g\u00e9nero impedem frequentemente as raparigas e as mulheres de entrarem nas \u00e1reas STEM, enquanto os obst\u00e1culos culturais e institucionais criam ambientes profissionais hostis ou pouco acolhedores. Os l\u00edderes devem avaliar as suas pr\u00e1ticas de recursos humanos para melhorar a cultura do local de trabalho e garantir que os processos de recrutamento, crit\u00e9rios, ferramentas de IA e outros recursos sejam imparciais.<\/p>\n<p>Embora as empresas tenham grande parte da responsabilidade pela canaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de talentos, os pais tamb\u00e9m podem combater os estere\u00f3tipos em casa para promover a confian\u00e7a das raparigas nas STEM desde tenra idade. Os pais, conscientes das mensagens contradit\u00f3rias da cultura pop, podem contrari\u00e1-las encorajando os seus filhos a perseguir os seus interesses. Se uma filha gosta de brincar com pe\u00e7as LEGO, os pais devem encorajar a sua criatividade; se ela gosta de explorar o bosque, podem lev\u00e1-la a passear na natureza para descobrir novas esp\u00e9cies de plantas e animais. Para al\u00e9m dos esfor\u00e7os profissionais, muitas pequenas a\u00e7\u00f5es podem refor\u00e7ar o interesse precoce pelas STEM.<\/p>\n<p>Os estudantes formam frequentemente as suas aspira\u00e7\u00f5es profissionais com base nas representa\u00e7\u00f5es dos meios de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o social. Infelizmente, a falta de diversidade, equidade e inclus\u00e3o nestas representa\u00e7\u00f5es pode limitar a sua vis\u00e3o de poss\u00edveis carreiras. Se as estudantes n\u00e3o virem mulheres celebradas como astronautas, m\u00e9dicas ou outras profissionais, podem assumir que n\u00e3o h\u00e1 lugar para elas nas STEM, o que est\u00e1 longe de ser verdade.<\/p>\n<p>Os resultados do estudo \u201cPorque \u00e9 que a reten\u00e7\u00e3o de mulheres nas carreiras STEM \u00e9 t\u00e3o dif\u00edcil? Um olhar mais atento sobre as perce\u00e7\u00f5es e experi\u00eancias das mulheres nos dom\u00ednios STEM \u201c<em><sup>3<\/sup><\/em> oferecem informa\u00e7\u00f5es valiosas sobre a forma como os empregadores e as universidades podem apoiar melhor as mulheres em STEM, melhorar a reten\u00e7\u00e3o e reduzir a diferen\u00e7a de g\u00e9nero. As principais pr\u00e1ticas incluem o refor\u00e7o da flexibilidade no local de trabalho, o equil\u00edbrio entre a vida profissional e a vida privada e o apoio \u00e0s responsabilidades de cuidados infantis.
